Hello everyone and welcome to Belinda's back yard gardening where beginer's and experts are welcome. 💚💚💚 Bamboo Trellising How to make make-up a simple trellis using bamboo some jokes or string and a pair of clippers or or scissors. 1 -Get 3 6ft plus baboo cane's. TIP you will need it longer than 6ft as you will be putting a foot of it in the ground. Get some jute, garden twine or strong string and set aside with sizzors. TIP. tie the ends of the string that will be the too part of the main structure. Don't leave it till the end like I did my first year of growing them. Tie them on once you have measured the length that you need and do it before you plant up. Step 2 Line up 3 bamboo canes and start winding the string or jute across the top your structure to keep them together for when you put it in place. Step 3 measure the length of the cane with a piece of jute or strong string and tie at the top of the baboo cane going down the bamboo cane and tie around the base of the plant leaving room for the plant's stems to grow. once the plant's are big enough start winding them and the tendrils are reaching for something to grab onto so you manually wind each plant winding down and them up the string trellis. Get another length of twine or jute and measure the length of the bamboo and starting from the top where you iust tied your structure going down the bamboo climingowhere you are going to put your climbing plant's ànd securely by tying the base with the string rapped around the bottom of the plan As it grows you train the plant's and tendrils up the string growing Verttically.
